About SV Steel

SV Steel is a commercial structural steel specialist serving architects, engineers, developers and main contractors across London and the South East, fabricating to BS EN 1090-1 Execution Class 2.

What we do

We take commercial structural steel from drawings to an erected frame: detailing, fabrication, erection, laser cutting, architectural metalwork and full steel-package project management. Every job is fabricated under a controlled, audited process to the execution class your structure requires.

Our focus is commercial work, the offices, residential blocks, warehouses, industrial units and mixed-use schemes that need dependable steel on a real programme. We fabricate from your structural engineer's drawings and connection design, taking detailing through to a frame standing on site.

Standards and certification

Our steelwork is fabricated to BS EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 and carries CE marking, backed by a factory production control system. We fabricate to Execution Class 2 (EXC2), the execution class for the majority of general building structures. Our guide to BS EN 1090-1 EXC2 explains how the classes work and which one a project needs.
