Commercial Steel Staircase Fabricator
SV Steel is a commercial steel staircase fabricator serving architects, engineers and main contractors across London and the South East. We fabricate feature, escape and access staircases, with stringers, treads, landings and balustrades, to BS EN 1090-1, Execution Class 2 (EXC2).
What we make
- Feature and architectural staircases for entrances and atria
- Escape and access stairs to loading and guarding regulations
- Straight, dog-leg, half-turn and switchback configurations
- Steel or combined steel-and-glass balustrades and handrails
- Hot-dip galvanised, powder-coated or painted, fabricated to BS EN 1090-1 EXC2
A staircase is often the one piece of steel a building's users actually touch, so it has to be both correct and well made. We engineer feature stairs to the architect's intent and fabricate escape and access stairs to the loading and guarding regulations, all to Execution Class 2. Because we also fabricate the structure, the stair is co-ordinated with the frame it fixes to.
