Beams are only as good as the fabrication behind them. Every section we supply is cut and welded under an audited Factory Production Control process to Execution Class 2, so the steel arrives right, fits on site and carries the documentation your building control and client expect. - What sizes and sections of steel beam can you supply?
- We fabricate the full range of hot-rolled structural sections: universal beams (UB), universal columns (UC), parallel flange channels (PFC), RSJs and structural hollow sections, in grade S355. Send your beam schedule or drawings with an enquiry and we'll confirm against your specific sizes.
- Do you supply steel beams cut to size or fabricated to drawings?
- Both. We supply beams cut, drilled, notched and coped to your dimensions, or fully fabricated members with cleats, end plates and stiffeners welded on, ready to erect. Everything is worked from your structural engineer's drawings.
- What grade of steel are your beams?
- Our structural beams are grade S355 as standard, the common grade for UK commercial steelwork, with S275 supplied where a project specifies it. Every section is fabricated to BS EN 1090-1, Execution Class 2 (EXC2).
- Can you protect the beams against corrosion and fire?
- Yes. Beams can be shop-primed, hot-dip galvanised, or coated with intumescent fire protection, specified to the exposure and fire rating your project needs. Tell us the requirement with your enquiry.
- Do you deliver steel beams across London and the South East?
- Yes. We fabricate at our works in Denham, West London, and deliver across London and the South East, sequenced to your erection programme. We can also erect the steel we fabricate.
